Jenna’s Boyfield Richard Madden Fancies Doctor Who Role

Who’s own pot-of-gorgeous, Jenna Coleman is dating a man of obvious class and refined tastes. Richard Madden (Jenna’s squeeze), known for playing Robb Stark, King of the North in Game of Thrones Series 1-3 has said he’d be up for a part in Doctor Who

I mean, I love ‘Doctor Who.’ I’ve always loved ‘Doctor Who,’ but … we’ll just see what happens in the future…

Take a look at this clip of Madden opposite David Bradley (William Hartnell in Gatiss’s Adventure in Space and Time). He’s in trouble for marrying for love having promised to wed one of Bradley’s daughters – but beware spoilers!

The interviewer notes that Moff has put partnered actors on-screen together before in Sherlock – if you’ve been watching series three (and if not why not?!) you’ll have seen the fabulous Amanda Abbington, real-life partner of Martin Freeman, playing his on-screen Mrs. Might we see Madden popping up as a love-interest for Clara?

What do you think? We’ve heard rumours about a male companion playing against Capaldi’s Doctor, but what would you think about another Mr-Mrs pairing on-board the TARDIS?

Might make an interesting Master, to go from good guy Rob Stark….to that most evil of Time Lords. He is a great actor.

  2. TonyS says:

Actually yes I could see him as the Master

  3. DonnaM says:

I’m tempted to say any actor would fancy a part in the show nowadays! Mind you, I wouldn’t care to work with my other half… there’s definitely something to be said for having some time apart!

  4. CastellanSpandrel says:

He’s her boyfield? If they get married, will that make him her farmhouse?

    • That has to be the most insane typo ever.

Thanks for mentioning it quietly ;)
