Tom Baker Sees into the Future!

Monday morning. You’re back at work or college; you need something to cheer you up, get your spirits rising, prepare you for the week ahead, girding your loins for whatever might happen.

This audio sketch by John Guilor in which the actor – famed for his voice work on the recent reconstructed Planet of Giants DVD – voices a spoof Nationwide with Frank Bough interviewing Tom Baker in 1979 might just be what you need to get ready for the week ahead and cast all problems that you face to one side.

Great stuff – although it does come with an Adult Language Warning.

I can’t play this. Is it the one where Tom in all his goggle eyed pomp says to the coke snorting S&M loving Mr Bough: You don’t think people think you’re a real person do you?”
Ps to any Americans or people under 40 I should explain my comment: Frank Bough was the trusted safe pair of hands in British news and sports anchoring for a generation. He was liquid reliability poured into a cardigan. Then it turned out he had been bang on the gear for years and was a fetishist crossdressing swinger as well. Never seen on TV since which is a shame because he was alright.

    • Shame you can’t play it – it’s definitely worth listening to. I suggest heading to the Soundcloud site, or trying again at home
