For those not in the know, The Minister of Chance is a ‘sonic movie,’ an aural extravaganza funded entirely by its listeners and publicised through word of mouth.

The titular character first appeared in the audio drama Death Come to Time (where he was played by Stephen Fry) which was also written, produced and directed by Dan Freeman – who, after a quick regeneration into Julian Wadham, has spun the character into his own, very unique universe featuring a host of characters played by luminaries as Paul McGann, Sylvester McCoy and Paul Darrow.

The fifth episode which goes on general release this week will be accompanied by a brand new website – so if you want to grab a ‘first watch’ of episode 5 or any of the cast-signed merchandise head over to the website now!

If that’s not enough to satiate your Chance-buds, how about a collection of interview snippets from cast members Jed Brophy and Julian Wadham, on The Minister and their respective film, television careers, in the build-up to the big general release?

For more news on the general release, why not keep an eye on The Ministers Twitter and Facebook feeds?

About the Author

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
