Did You Ask Strax?

Sontaran warrior and friend of the Doctor Commander Strax has been kind enough to answer questions from fans on behalf of the BBC.

The video is, of course, a useful tie-in to this evening’s The Crimson Horror which airs at 6.30pm on BBC One and BBC HD and at 8 ET on BBC America.

Once again Dan Starkey excels as the Sontaran, a race he first played in 2008′s The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Earth, and which he has returned to on TV and audio with Big Finish.

It’s fair to say, we think, that Starkey has made as big an impact in the potato-headed prosthetic as his renowned predecessor Kevin Lindsay (The Time Warrior and The Sontaran Experiment).

But hey, what do we know – what do you think?

Strax may possibly be the best recurring character sing the good old Brig!

      ‘sing’ should obviously read ‘since’

  2. I agree. Strax is a lot of fun.
