Awwww, they’re all so…cute. A few years ago, a box set was released of all eleven Doctors in action figure form. The high quality box set has been well received by collectors and the general public alike.
And so to make sure that other collectors aren’t missing out, a similar set was then released, again containing all eleven Doctors, but this time they’re in a teeny tiny, itty-bitty micro figure Character Building format.
Each little mini Doctor comes with their own display stand and separate sonic screwdriver, apart from Doctors one, six and seven who never had one (McCoy’s Doctor only briefly used it in the 1996 movie, not in his three-year run). It’s all packaged up in a TARDIS display box, ready for you to pick up, bring home and cherish forever!
Both of these collections have been selling well since release, but… well, let’s just say that not everybody has one, and given the occasion this year (Doctor Who is 50! Wait, you didn’t know?!) it should come as no surprise to find that there is a repainting of the Character Building boxset.

As you can see, there are some new paint jobs for all eleven incarnations of the famous Time Lord – even the Ninth Doctor has changed his jumper!
Nothing we’ve seen so far from the recent toy fairs has indicated that there will be a repainted release of the Eleven Doctors Action Figure Set, but we reckon some alternate paint jobs and the addition of the swish new classic Doctor Who logo for the 50th anniversary would be perfect!
The 11 Doctors Action Figure Set is available from Forbidden Planet for £44.99, while the existing Character Building: 11 Doctors Pack is available from the same retailer for just £14.99. Expect to see the new 2013 repainted set later this year.

Great to see Sixie pitching up in his blue livery there, as he’s appeared in audio and webcasts, and number 4 moving to his burgundy ensemble too.
