Daleks Annex Sydney!

Oh how we wish we’d been able to attend the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular at Sydney Opera House earlier this month – but fortunately YouTube is on hand for the lucky attendees to share their videos of the event.

Taking place from December 15th to 21st, the show was hosted by Alex Kingston and Mark Williams (River Song and grandfather Brian Williams) and was an effective showcase of Murray Gold’s popular soundtracks from Doctor Who reaching back to 2005.

In the following clip, YouTube user Alise Tamara recorded the moment in which a Dalek forces Ben Foster to play, while announcing the establishing of a new Dalek base in Sydney Opera House!

You’ll find much more from the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular‘s run in Sydney elsewhere on YouTube!

Basically it’s a cut and paste job from the Albert Hall event.
Maybe if the Daleks had Australian accents it would have been a little funnier.
