Otaking Tackles Star Wars!

Paul Otaking Johnson has a go at Star Wars animeRemember Otaking? He did a rather wonderful thirteen minute anime version of Doctor Who featuring an epic battle for the Third Doctor and the Brigadier in Japan against the Daleks and the Cybermen and two incarnations of the Master as well as Davros!

It’s one of the most fun adventures that the Third Doctor had/never had (delete as applicable depending on your view of continuity).

Otaking is a very talented artist with fingers in a lot of pies and so we feel that you should check out some of the other work that’s also under his name.

The latest video is a Star Wars space battle between some very cool Tie Fighters, quite frankly it puts a lot of the recent Star Wars offerings to shame, especially the Clone Wars series that’s been running for the last few years.

It must be incredibly difficult to recreate a well established franchise with quite the astounding level of detail that Otaking manages but somehow, it all works very nicely.

Please give your time to this video, rate it and like it if you feel to and perhaps check out some of the other offerings provided by the same artist on YouTube, it’s only through visitors such as yourselves that people like Otaking can get the recognition that they deserve!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
