Amazing Asylum of the Daleks Concept Art Revealed!

The harsh angular lines, the cool monomania of creating everything in their own image, the decay and neglect – the Dalek Asylum was a master class in art design and now the BBC’s Doctor Who website have exclusive concept sketches and designs highlighting the hard work that went into creating Asylum of the Daleks.

The twelve sketches feature an array of designs: from the Dalek Prime minister to Oswin’s room – each with a fascinating level of detail such as the image of the Eleventh Doctor upon Oswin’s monitor, the Dalek hiding away in the one of the cells down one of the Asylums corridors and of course, a whole lot of eggs.

We reckon you would be missing out by not spending a few moments browsing the collection – check it out now!

About the Author

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
