Daleks' Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

Rare Items at Bonhams!

This July fans will have a chance to get their hands on various Doctor Who items up for auction as a part of an upcoming auction at Bonhams.

Up for sale on Friday 3rd July are a quad poster from the Peter Cushing classic Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 AD – measuring 40 inches by 30, which is estimated to sell at £300-£400, two roboform costumes from The Runaway Bride (one of which is believed to have been worn as a disguise by the Doctor himself, David Tennant during the episode) which are estimated to raise £400 to £500, and a maid’s costume from Tooth and Claw, hoped to raise between £100 and £150.

Finally, there is also a Slab guard costume from Smith and Jones, which carries an estimate of £300 to £400.

All of the costumes appear to be the same as those sold in the Entertainment Memorabilia auction held last December where they raised £437, £400 and £225 respectively.

Pre-sale viewings will be held on Friday 29th June (9am to 4.30pm), Sunday 1st July (11am to 3pm), Monday 2nd July (9am to 4.30pm), and the day of the auction itself (9am to 11am)

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
