WhoNews on BlackBerry

Doctor Who news on your mobile with WhoNews - now on BlackBerry!See that ad up there, the one on the left? It’s for Who-News, a great Doctor Who news app for iPhone which is possibly the best of its kind available.

But you don’t own an iPhone, do you? Perhaps you own an Android device instead – well don’t worry, as WhoNews is also available for Ice Cream Sandwich and some other versions.

Oh – you own a BlackBerry? Well, while you’re not worrying about who is going to buy the company, you can relax in the knowledge that your phone also has a version of WhoNews available!

Just released by multi-faceted developer Paul Gee, WhoNews for BlackBerry provides access to the the same news, blogs, podcasts and special fan feeds as the iPhone and Android versions collated from 120+ sites.

Version 1.0 provides a simple and quick to navigate interface with direct redirection to the news article’s website. The simple ‘Refresh News’ menu item allows users to choose when to update WhoNews for all categories and yet save on the user’s data plans. All downloaded news is stored on the device.

Version 1.0.1 is released very soon and WhoNews for BlackBerry is priced at $1.99,

We like WhoNews so much, we’re happy to be featured on it and for Paul to advertise the app here at Kasterborous.

WhoNews is the only dedicated native Doctor Who News app available for BlackBerry users.

Download it here at the BlackBerry App World http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/81180/?lang=en

So, that’s all bases covered… except one. Paul, about that Windows Phone version…?
