Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill in Doctor Who Series 6

TARDIS Team Talk!

With the release of Doctor Who Series 6 in its entirety on DVD and Blu-ray recently, there’s plenty of publicity surrounding the mad and exciting episodes to go around for all. One of the best events that you might or might not have been able to experience live was the question and answer session that took place with Matt Smith, Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford City, London.

Self-confessed Doctor Who groupie fan Jo Whiley hosts the event (and is clearly as excited as the rest of the attendees!) and poses questions to three actors.

Kissing, injuries and parents are talked about as well as cryptic hints and clues about the forthcoming 2011 Christmas special and the plans that Steven Moffat may or may not have for the next series…

If you haven’t got the Series 6 box set as of yet and you were wondering what the exclusive Night and the Doctor scenes were like, watch this Q & A session to find out more about them. There’s a sneak peek at the Doctor and Amy using the TARDIS telepathic controls and it’s lovely to see them in use again after all of these years.

This may be one of the last times that Matt, Arthur and Karen are all together for a Doctor Who related event so enjoy the moment!

(Note that the following clips from the BBC Worldwide YouTube page all have opening advertisements…)

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
