The Seventh Doctor at Dragon*Con!

If there’s one thing that America knows how to do well (there’s many but this one is worth highlighting) its comic conventions!

This year Dragon*Con will be taking place in Atlanta, and it’s the “largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe!”

You’re bound to come across interesting characters and events but for all you Doctor Who fans living stateside, there’s a lot going on to tickle your fancy.

Merrick, the news deliverer for Aint it Cool News, has posted that his friend Ken Plume will be hosting a couple of Doctor Who panels at the event which starts today.

Plume will not only be speaking to the one and only Sylvester McCoy (the Seventh Doctor) on the Friday, he will also be hosting a more general Who related panel on the Sunday where prizes will be available for a lucky few!

Rumour also has it that there will be a special screening of Night Terrors, the newest episode from Series 6 on the Saturday so there’s plenty for all.

Dragon Con is taking place from September 2nd until September 5th in Atlanta. For information on Dragon*Con, go to the official website at dragoncon.org.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
