Torchwood Classic Cast Catchup

The cast of Torchwood has been somewhat interchangeable since its inception and pilot episode in 2006.

Many of the regulars who starred in the show have been killed off and moved on to work on other projects. For anyone who’s wondering “where are they now?” BBC America have published just that information on their website within their blog section, one presumes this is to let viewers who will be tuning in to watch Miracle Day can catch up with the series if they haven’t watched it in a while.

Many of the main cast from series one and two including Burn Gorman (Owen), Naoko Mori (Tosh), Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto) and Indira Varma (Suzie) have been killed off in the worst ways possible, never to return to the series but thanks to the good people at the BBC you can now find out what they’ve been up to.

The list also includes guest stars of Torchwood who have gone on to star in other big BBC productions including Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones), Daniela Denby-Ashe (Mary in Greeks Bearing Gifts, James Marsters (Captain John Hart who was Captain Jack’s ex throughout Series 2 of Torchwood) and Peter Capaldi (John Frobisher in Children of Earth).

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
