Miracle Day: Rendition Preview

Torchwood: Miracle Day continues tonight on Starz in the USA (following in the UK on Thursday 21st July) with the second episode, Rendition.

Many plot strands have been laid in episode one, The New World, and these naturally continue (and are added to) in Rendition. However, of greatest interest is the character of Oswald Danes, played by Bill Pullman; this is quite possibly a career defining performance from the veteran actor, and he’s going to be playing a big part throughout the entire series.

Apparently, in Rendition:

1. Oswald becomes an internet sensation with his own viral video.

3. Oprah Winfrey shows an interest in creepy ol’ Oswald.

Fascinating stuff…Meanwhile, the BBC synopsis has this:

As the Torchwood team is reunited, Jack realises he’s the most vulnerable man on Earth; and a flight to the USA turns into a desperate battle for survival.

So, here’s the trailer:

Wow – what’s happening to Jack?

Finally, here are a few snaps from the episode…
