More Series 6 Episodes Titles!

Doctor Who Magazine has naturally come to the rescue of anyone dying to know the episode titles of Series 6, with the titles of the first half of the run featuring in issue #433.

It now transpires that the previously titled two parter from Matthew Graham The Rebel Flesh and Gangers is now known as The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People, while the Hugh Bonneville-guesting pirate episode by Stephen Thompson – who wrote the second Sherlock episode – is called The Curse Of The Black Spot.

Episode 7 is where Steven  Moffat earlier revealed we would see a “game-changing cliffhanger” and leads into the mid-season break which the The Grand Moff hopes will prevent anyone from missing the odd episode. This episode is titled, tantilizingly (considering what River Song told us last year), A Good Man Goes To War.

The full list of episodes as it stands:

1 & 2 – The Impossible Astronaut/Day Of The Moon by Steven Moffat

3 – The Curse Of The Black Spot by Stephen Thompson

4 – The Doctor’s Wife by Neil Gaiman

5 & 6 The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People by Matthew Graham

7 – A Good Man Goes To War by Steven Moffat

Little is known about the second half of the series as yet, so stay tuned and we’ll bring you the titles of episodes by Mark Gatiss, Gareth Roberts and Toby Whithouse as they’re confirmed…

  1. “Curse of The Black Spot,” really? Surely something a little more original wouldn’t have been too difficult? “Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl” anyone?

“A Good Man Goes To War” ? A tantalising fan-baiting title – 8th Doctor and the Time War???

    • Perhaps that pirate ep will see the surprise return of a one Captain Jack Harkness, eh? ;)
