When he’s not impressing the known universe with his writing/producing/general Scottishness Steven Moffat also likes to tease questioning fans via the magic of Twitter.
The pestering tweeters have been pressing Doctor Who’s Lead Writer and Executive Producer on numerous fronts but the two that perked most fanboys were: Will we see two River Song’s in the new series?
“Well. You’ll have to wait a bit, but…â€
Now we all know that cloning plays a part in Matthew Graham’s double header The Rebel Flesh and Gangers so could we be seeing two River Songs – which will no doubt fulfil some fan fantasies.
The second most intriguing nugget of info comes from a half finished sentence during the Comic Relief Specials Time and Space. Amy’s opening gambit to the Doctor seemed to be quite an important point but was soon cut off by a skirt related mishap. Moffat confirmed that whatever Amy was about to say, well, it was quite important:
“That WILL come back. But not for a while. Oh, how ANNOYING!!â€
So if you’re not already scrambling back to watch and listen to the specials closely, go now!
