New Doctor Who DVDs in France

Réjouissez-vous! France Television Distribution have revealed the DVD release date for Season Four and the Specials as well as brand spanking nouvelles versions of Season 1, 2, and in a shocking development, 3.

This is the first time Series 4 and “The Specials” have been released on DVD and all these new editions will be available aux citoyens de la France on the 15th June exclusively at the FNAC shops.

Details include:

  • Season Une New Edition – a four disc set including all thirteen French dubbed episodes (including original English dubs and French subtitles.)
  • Season Deux New Edition – again a four disc set including all thirteen French dubbed episodes (including original English dubs and French subtitles.)
  • Season Trois New Edition – Pretty much the same again only this set includes the christmas special “Le mariage de Noël” or The Runaway Bride (which isn’t as good as the French title).
  • Season Quatre New Edition – the usual bobbins plus the Christmas special “Une croisière autours de la Terre” or The Voyage of the Damned.
  • The Specials – A two disc set containing all five episodes with the usual dubbing and subtitle options.

Each one of the series will set you back €24,99 with The Specials costing €19,99.

French speaking Whovians can hop over to fantastic French site Beans on Toast to discuss these releases and more.

Thanks again to Aurélie (who I’m sure doesn’t use Google translate).

Andrew has left Kasterborous. Any article that appears on the site past February 2016 claiming to be written by Andrew Reynolds has been done so maliciously and without the authors consent. The author does not condone gambling in any form and would not seek to publicise the industry through a children's television show.
