It isn’t every day that you find a Doctor Who related shop has opened pretty much on your doorstep, but this is certainly what happened to me this week when I was contacted by Martin and Brian of Who-Ray in Stockton-on-Tees.

They got in touch to praise our new design (what do you think of it?) and it turned out that they were local to the north-east wing of Kasterborous Towers.

Who-Ray has an online store (shop.who-ray.co.uk) as well as a physical presence at 7 Silver Street, Stockton, and this Saturday, 18th September they’re holding a small fundraising event for Teesside’s Butterwick House Children’s Hospice.

In store – surrounded by Doctor Who and other sci-fi and fantasy merchandise – will be Das Phantom, the fantasy artist who will be creating artwork on the day to be raffled off for the hospice. Two other artists will also be present, and in total two pieces will be available to be won in the raffle at £1 per ticket.

If you’re in the north east of England on Saturday (and I know we have a quite few local readers) then get down to Stockton, checkout Who-Ray and get yourself a couple of raffle tickets to support a well loved local cause.
