Moff Questions Live

A Question Time special will take place at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television festival later this month, with Peter Bazalgette taking the David Dimbleby role – and among the panel of guests will be Steven Moffat.

Doctor Who boss Steven MoffatFresh from revealing on BBC Breakfast News today that a new series of Sherlock has been commissioned (which you can see at BlogtorWho), Moffat will be attending alongside Diane Abbott MP; the BBC Vision director, Jana Bennett; DCD Media’s chairman, David Elstein; and the Sky Arts presenter Mariella Frostrup.

Steve Anderson, Question Time’s executive producer, told The Guardian:

“It’s a first-class panel with strong views and broad experience of production and broadcasting.

“By Saturday afternoon, Edinburgh will have heard from the director general of the BBC and the culture and media secretary; this will be an opportunity for delegates to make their voices heard.”

Lucky attenders and delegates to the festival will certainly be expecting a fascinating and engaging discussion – for more information, head over to the festival’s official website, www.mgeitf.co.uk.
