Doctor Who Live @ Tesco!?

As part of the unprecedented Doctor Who Live tour, a selection of monsters from the series will be appearing at various branches of Tesco in order to promote the shows!

This is evidently an exciting development, one that gives the shows the feel of a Radio 1 roadshow.

Doctor Who Live

A selection of the scariest and most iconic monsters from the smash hit television show Doctor Who will be visiting Tesco stores to celebrate the forthcoming Doctor Who Live tour. The Doctor’s famed arch-enemies Monsters will visit certain Tesco stores to meet and terrify their fans! Spectators will be able to see the Cybermen, Ood, Silurian and Clockwork Robot in action – so make sure you get down there early!

The following branches of Tesco will be host to the Doctor Who Live monsters between 4pm and 6pm (unless stated otherwise) on the listed dates:

31st August Redditch Tesco Extra, Coldfield Drive, Redditch, Worcestershire

1st September Nottingham Tesco Extra, Nottingham Top Valley, Top Valley Drive, Nottinghamshire, NG5 9DD

The Monsters will be appearing in the Doctor Who Live show which will be touring UK arenas from 7th October to the 8th November. This spectacular show will feature special FX, optical illusions and spectacular pyrotechnics building to an epic finale. Exclusive scenes with Matt Smith as the Doctor will appear on a big screen during the show. This monster spectacular will be accompanied by the phenomenal music of Doctor Who composer Murray Gold, played live by an onstage band.

Doctor Who Live promises the same excitement, adventure and suspense that viewers have come to expect from the TV programme – however the organisers do make clear that actors from the TV series will not be appearing live on stage.

Please see www.doctorwholive.com for further info.

Meanwhile, tickets at £38.50 are available, as well as cheaper options; £34.50 or £25.00. If seeing the monsters at Tescos isn’t enough for you, and you would rather have the tickets, book for any of the nine locations here at Ticketmaster!

Hurry, they’re selling fast!
