Big Bang at the Lass

Doctor Who - The Big Bang live at the Lass O'GowrieLooking for a way to celebrate the conclsuion to the current series of Doctor Who in style?

If you’re in the Manchester area, why not head over to The Lass O’Gowrie this Saturday afternoon – found on Charles Street in Manchester centre, the pub is run by Doctor Who fan and Vworp Vworp! editor Gareth Kavanagh.

This isn’t the first time the pub has hosted a Doctor Who event – they’re renowned for their intimate “pubcon” mini-conventions (another takes place in July) and they also heralded the start of the current series with a similar big screen jamboree back in March.

Due to a potential clash with the football, The Big Bang can be watched in the pubs upstairs function room, away from the hustle and bustle of 22 men kicking a pigs bladder across a field.

The result of this is that there are just 40 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis – so get yourself to the Lass in good time before 6pm!
