Doctor Who Story Guide

Pensioner favourite and all round Doctor Who champion the Radio Times is to continue its online Doctor Who Story guide.

Doctor Who - The Ark in SpaceRadio Times journalists Mark Braxton and Patrick Mulkern with the assistance of Radio Times historian Ralph Montagu are compiling an in-depth analysis of every transmitted Doctor Who story.

So far the project covers every episode from An Unearthly Child to The Ark in Space and all of the new episodes from Rose up to Journey’s End and aims to post a new entry every week.

There is a veritable treasure trove of goodies including links to vintage covers, quirky articles, amusing readers’ letters, illustrations by the fantastic Frank Bellamy, and from the 70’s onwards, every programme billing.

Also featured in the guide are rare and exclusive Radio Times photographs.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
