Tenth Doctor Tribute

Ben Templesmith's Tenth Doctor interpretationThere’s a great tribute to the Tenth Doctor courtesy of Tony Lee on MTV.com, where the writer of IDW’s Doctor Who series discusses how he can play with the toys, but not throw them all over the floor.

Lee has taken the Tenth Doctor on many new travels over the past couple of years, all the time avoiding contradiction and disruption to the established nuWho time line and continuity. These tales can fit strictly in with the canon, thanks to the philosophy of the man writing the words.

The game is to try to please all of the people all of the time. To make sure that your stories could, if needed, not only be placed chronologically into the series, but actively enhance those episodes, too.

Tony Lee’s Doctor Who Ongoing stories will continue to be released well into 2010. If you haven’t read any of them to date, what are you waiting for? Have a look at this list of Who work on Amazon.
