Hot on the heels of Big Finish’ recent call for submissions for their audio plays, the producers of Doctor Who adventures on CD and MP3 have announced a return of the Short Trips title, now transferred from the page to audio form – and with 8 adventures by new writers!

This is a great opportunity for any aspiring writer – with 8 slots in the release for new writers, it potentially represents a better chance of success than the recent call for pitches for single 25 minute long Doctor Who adventures from Big Finish.

Better still – the successful Short Trips writers will have their short story read by well-known actors!

It doesn’t matter whether or not you’ve been published before, but submissions will only be accepted from people who have never written anything for Big Finish. If your story is chosen, you will work with an editor to get the story ready for publication. You will receive the standard author’s contract and rates of pay. Remember, this is a short  story, not a play. It should be no more than 2,500 words in length.
