Where is Matt Smith?

Is the Eleventh Doctor in The End of Time, Part Two? That’s the question on many people’s lips this week as we approach the final David Tennant episode of Doctor Who.

Hints from Russell T Davies that we may not even see David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor regenerate into the 11th Doctor seem to be nothing more than a typical RTD smokescreen – but there is also a rumour that Matt Smith’s Doctor is in fact the FIRST DOCTOR in a “reboot” of all that has gone before.

Needless to say that in a show that has a natural reboot in “regeneration” that such an extreme tactic seems like overkill.

The intimation of these rumours is that despite the huge public interest in The End of Time, Part Two, there will in fact be no regeneration and Matt Smith will emerge from the TARDIS in the Spring.

Except of course, we’ve already seen Matt Smith in a singed and torn version of David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor suit…
