The End of Time – LIVE!
Want to catch The End of Time in the company of fellow Doctor Who fans, some freshly cooked pies and plenty of booze? Read on for information on how you can do just that at Manchester’s Food and Drink Pub of the Year, The Lass O’Gowrie!
We’ve put on a few Who events now in the past few years at the Lass O’Gowrie and are confident this one will be a corker, as we’ll be using all our big screens and pub system to create a fantatsic atmosphere befitting the end of an era. We’ll also pop confidential on after! It’s free to attend, however its’ first come, first served. Under 16′s are fine to attend until 9:30pm, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Food will be available in the day, so people are encouarged to get in early to tuck in, secure a seat and relax. We’re planning a special roast and our pies are legendary! We’re located right in the city centre (see Google Maps), down the side of the BBC and close to the University.
Piccadilly Station and Oxford Road Station are both within easy walking distance, with Chorlton Street Bus Station just as close and parking plentiful on the road outside the pub. We’ve also had a look at the train situation at NationalRail.co.uk and they look plentiful on New Years Day (for instance, here’s a selection from Liverpool), so hopefully no worries on that front.
So, if seeing out Tennant in Greater Manchester’s current Food and Drink Pub of the Year appeals, please feel free to come and join us.
