Mrs Saxon Speaks

The Master’s Wife, Lucy Saxon is played by Alexandra Moen, and she features in an interview in the Mirror today in which she reveals Matt Smith has his work cut out replacing David Tennant in Doctor Who…

Pretty blonde Alexandra – also seen in the now cancelled BBC One drama Hotel Babylon – is a huge fan of David Tennant, and also starred alongside him in Look Back in Anger in 2005 when he was cast as te Tenth Doctor.

“I don’t know about Matt,” she admits. “For me, it will always be David.

“Matt’s too young. David is definitely my favourite Doctor. The thing about him is he’s a genuine Doctor Who fan.”

As we’ve seen in several interviwes recently, as the star of the show David Tennant is keen to maintain a team approach to shoots and it seems he does this by fostering camaraderie and niceness…

“When I got the part he called me straight away and said how excited he was I was joining the cast.

“He is a really caring person and such a hard worker.”

We’ve seen the last of Lucy Saxon following the events of The End of Time, Part One – but who knows, hopefully Ms Moen will appear in Doctor Who again in future…?
