Doctor Who on the Radio

This Christmas sees several BBC radio broadcasts with a Doctor Who theme – what better time to air them than on the eve of a regeneration?

First of all, tune in to Boxing Day on Radio 4 for Doctor Who: The Lost Episodes – this documentary looks at how 108 episodes came to be missing from the archives and also look at the efforts of the BBC, and others, to recover the lost episodes from overseas’ broadcasters

Next, there’s Radio 4′s Desert Island Discs on Sunday, 27th December – Kirsty Young chats to David Tennant about his favourite music and his life.

Following this on Tuesday, 29th December is Who on Who – you might already be aware of this broadcast which sees David Tennant chatting with Russell T Davies about the return of Doctor Who in 2005 and the success the show has achieved since.

To accompany the listing of this last broadcast, the Christmas Radio Times has commissioned a piece of work from Kasterborous designer Anthony Dry – you can see it on p260!
