New Classic Who Merchandise

Fans of classic Doctor Who will be pleased to hear that BBC Worldwide have signed an agreement with two new licensees to produce new merchandise.

First of all there’s Bravado’s adult T-shirts and hoodies featuring images from the era of the Fourth (Tom Baker) and Fifth (Peter Davison) Doctors, which will be available in time for Christmas from “select retailers.”

Accompanying these items of apparel are a range of gifting items set to launch by in time for spring 2010. Including mugs, bags, wallets, keychains, and other collectables like mini-mug sets, Half Moon Bay’s products will also utilise retro scenes and images.

Both Bravado and Half Moon Bay are big names in their fields of specialised and stylish fan merchandise and cards and trinkets, respectively – it should be no surprise to see Doctor Who themed products from both companies available either side of the Atlantic over the next few months…

Meanwhile it is believed that discussions are ongoing for other product lines, including hats, belts and greetings cards, are also in discussions for production.
