6th Doctor and Jamie Reunited!

Here’s a Doctor-companion combination we’ve only ever had the slightest hint of in the past – Fraser Hines returns to Big Finish’s Doctor Who range as Jamie McCrimmon, the latest companion of the Sixth Doctor!

Fraser Hines and Colin Baker

Fraser Hines and Colin Baker of course worked together in The Two Doctors in 1985 as the Sixth and Second Doctors where thrown together by circumstance and Time Lords to prevent a time experiment catastrophe, encountering Sontarans and Androgums along the way.

It could be considered canon-busting – but what sort of world would we live in that we could be happy that Jamie forgot his adventures with the Doctor, any more than we can be happy that Donna Noble forgot hers?

Thankfully Big Finish have been buoyed by the success of the recente Fraser Hines-starring Companion Chronicles to put the Sixth Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon togther in the TARDIS!

The Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon have been reunited! Big Finish is delighted to announce that three brand new audio adventures starring Colin Baker and Frazer Hines have now been recorded, and are entering post production for release in 2010. Although there is no news yet on the story titles, the adventures have been scheduled for April, May and June 2010.

Excellent news – isn’t it!?
