With impeccably bad timing, Wired.com recently ran a video interview with David Tennant and Russell T Davies backstage at the San Diego Comic Con in which they discuss the Doctor Who Easter Special Planet of the Dead.

There doesn’t seem to be any reason for the very long delay in airing the video – however it does provide an insight into the processes that went into the notorious “bus rewrite”.

Sadly there doesn’t seem to be any answer to the question “do you think it was a mistake?” on the matter of shipping a bus, a cast and a film crew to Dubai, so speculation on that one will have to continue.
