Torchwood Series 4 Rumours

While Children of Earth takes up most of the Torchwood coverage, we’ve already heard of plans for a fourth series are awaiting the go-ahead – and SFX Magazine reckon former Doctor Who script editor Andrew Cartmel could be on scriptwriting duties.

According to the CV posted on his agent’s website, Cartmel is writing something called “The Jinx” for Torchwood Series 4.

It could all be tosh as a further browse through the SFX item reveals that Cartmel was pencilled in for a Torchwood script a couple of years ago.

And what sort of egotist sticks a script no one will ever see on their CV? (What? You mean people actuall do that?!)

Eve Myles and Kai Owen in Torchwood Chldren of EarthQuite remarkable news – and while we wait for the news of a fourth Torchwood (something that will probably be confirmed in the next few weeks at the outside), the cast seem to be crawling up the walls as well! Kai Owen who plays Gwen’s husband Rhys is dying to know if this quote from is anything to go by:

“Waiting for the nod, hopefully it will be happening – nothing has been confirmed yet but I’d do it forever, it’s a brilliant job,” he said.

“It was just lovely to work on one big storyline all the way through it.

“I loved that part about it really, because we all knew what was happening and we were all excited to see how it was gonna end because we knew it was all gonna tie in.”

Torchwood: Children of Earth kicks off on Monday evening for UK viewers on BBC One at 9pm!
