Hamlet DVD Recording Completed

Filming on the David Tennant-starring Hamlet has finally finished, having taken up the majority of June – and once edits and post production are complete is expected to be screened on BBC TV later this year.

Hamlet looks set t o become the highest selling educational DVD in UK sales history as it gets snapped up by consumers as well as finding its way onto both BBC TV and into teacher’s cupboards across the UK.

For foreign viewers, Hamlet looks set to be aired in the US – most likely on BBC America – in early 2010, according to reports.

In the meantime there is a marvellous blog by the team hired to produce the recording of Tennant’s Hamlet.

By Illuminations Media, the blog is a highly detailed account of the recording throughout June and should not be missed.
