Fan Animations

This stuff is absolutely choice, selected by the guys at Den of Geek to show the Top 10 Best of Doctor Who animations on YouTube.

Like many other hugely loved fictional universes, Doctor Who has long been the inspiration for many a fan project both official and unofficial from records and books to parodies and even websites!

Highlights of this excellent selection from Den of Geek include:

FanCon – a Tom Baker plasticine Doctor goes to a convention – excellent stuff

Davros – superb but basic stop motion animation using the Character Options toy range.

Doctor Who/Thomas the Tank Engine mashup – using Anthony Ainley’s final performace as the Master, an evil train captures some other trains.

Power of the Daleks Recon – most intriguing of all, this uses original telesnaps (photos taken of the scenes as recorded of this and other classic adventures) which have been mapped onto 3-D objects. The result is quite remarkable.

We recommend you stop what you’re doing and follow the link above to check these videos out now.!
