Iris Wildthyme Covers

The covers for the upcoming Iris Wilthyme series from Big Finish have been released online, with artwork provided by Kasterborous designer Anthony Dry!

Starring former Third Doctor companion Katy Manning (Jo Grant) as the time travelling Iris Wildthyme (whose TARDIS is a red London doubledecker bus!) the new series of 4 CDs is available from February.

The Sound of Fear sees Iris and her companion Panda materialising aboard Radio Yesterday, a space station broadcasting golden oldies to Earth’s colonies and coming face to face with her long-lost husband, and is released February 2009. (Cover image)

Land of Wonder meanwhile throws Iris Wildthyme headfirst into a mind-boggling voyage into a groovy Wonderland deep, deep beneath the Earth’s crust.  It will come as no surprise that this Lewis Carroll-esque adventure comes from the pen of Iris Wildthyme creator Paul Magrs. (Cover image)

The Two Irises – Iris turns into a man and in the year 2108, the North Bloc and the South Bloc teeter on the edge of terrible nuclear war. Her new incarnation is going to have to get stuck in. (Cover image)

The Panda Invasion is set in San Francisco, New Year’s Eve, 1999 – She’s back, and it’s about… gin!  As the world prepares to party its way into the next millennium, a space time rift opens above the Golden Gate Bridge – where an old fashioned London bus has appeared… As the rift spills untold horrors from other dimensions into our world, Iris has just one question: where the ‘eck is Panda?!
