Christmas Who!

The BBC has published details of its Christmas lineup – and Doctor Who features heavily alongside a raft of homegrown adventure and comedy.

Alongside a remake of The 39 Steps and a new Wallace and Gromit adventure (A Matter of Loaf and Death), Doctor Who is one of the crown jewels in the lineup (which also features Comic Relief Curse of the Fatal Death star Rowan Atkinson in a documentary on the Blackadder series!).

The Next Doctor stars David Tennant as the Doctor alongside David Morrissey as "The Doctor" and the lovely Dervla Kirwan.

Accompanying the drama, BBC One has highlights from the first ever Doctor Who At The Proms, which was one of the hottest tickets of the BBC’s Summer music festival.

Dates and times are yet to be confirmed; given that The Next Doctor is set at Christmas and will be the last episode for 3-4 months, a Christmas Day broadcast is likely, but keep an eye on the listings magazines just in case!
