The Darksmith Legacy

BBC Children’s Books (in conjunction with Penguin Books) will be publishing an epic ten-part collectable series from January, entitled The Darksmith Legacy.

A cross-media adventure, readers join the Doctor in his quest to save the Eternity Crystal from new adversaries known as The Darksmith Collective.

Two books will be released in January with a new installment every month.
Cliffhanger endings will build the tension, and between releases readers can assist the Doctor by visiting www.thedarksmithlegacy.com.

Here, visitors can create an avatar and alien identity and begin collecting eternity points to aid the Doctor’s survival, and joining forces with other fans releases exclusive content!

Justin Richards’ first instalment The Dust of Ages and Colin Brake’s The Graves of Mordane are released in January 2009, £4.99. Part three is The Colour of Darkness, by Richard Dungworth.
