Miserable Swine?

Now I’m not the Royal Family’s biggest fan – but is there any need to publicly insult HRH The Prince of Wales?

So Russell T Davies – why did you refer to the monarch-in-waiting as a "miserable swine" when you revealed that The Prince of Wales turned down an appearance in Doctor Who?

Speaking at the The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, writer and executive producer Russell T Davies was joined onstage by Barrowman as he told the gathered fans that the Prince had snubbed an invitation.

I’m bewildered and slightly more bewildered as to why they thought he would say yes, but even more bewildered and with a bucket full of bewilderment thrown in as to Mr Davies’s bizarre revelation on that day to say something like that in public, and in front of children.

They’re more than capable of making their own minds up.
