Verity Lambert Will

Several outlets are reporting on the main sum of pioneering Doctor Who producer Verity Lambert’s will.

Lambert apparently left the majority of her £2.5 million estate to family and friends, having left no survivors; her 14 year marriage to director Colin Bucksey ended in 1987 and resulted in no children.

Verity Lambert was the owner of her own production company, Cinema Verity, and was responsible for a wide ranging selection of series such as Budgie, Minder, Rumpole of the Bailey and Jonathan Creek, as well as the John Cleese movie Clockwise.

Ms Lambert died on November 26th 2007 ages 71, and was awarded the OBE in 2002.
