Visit Dreamland This Weekend!

You can catch “Doctor Who meets a Fifties monster B-movie”, Dreamland this weekend as the a new six-part animated adventure premières daily on BBC Red Button and the BBC’s Official Doctor Who website from Saturday 21 November.
From the pen of Phil Ford (The Waters of Mars, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures), Dreamland sees the Doctor arrive in the desert in the USA where he stumbles across an alien artefact in a local diner.
From there he is led to the United States of America’s secret base Area 51, also known as “Dreamland” where he finds himself on a momentous mission to rescue Rivesh Mantilax from the threat of the ruthless alien Viperox not to mention the clutches of the US military.
Realised in high-definition 3-D animation, the Dreamland matches David Tennant’s Doctor with two new companions – Cassie (Georgia Moffett – The Doctor’s Daughter) and Jimmy (Tim Howar) – and pits him against a new alien race, the monstrous Viperox, led by Lord Azlok (the legendary David Warner).
Excitingly, Dreamland will be enhanced by a brand-new mobile comic reader application available for iPhone, iPod and HTC G1 Android devices.
