THought this was OK – first episodes are always hard, however some of the editing was awful, and I don’t like the whoosy "THIS IS A CASTLE!" type captions.

Lead was better than I thought, Marian was tidy, but I thought the best one was the Guy playing Gisborne…

I enjoyed it because the more episodes of Robby Nudd we get, the closer we are to Who. The best part was the torchwood trailer after&nbsp; <!– s:D –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/cheesy.gif" alt=":D" title="Cheesy" /><!– s:D –>

The captions got on my nerves to but I hope they stop after the main places have been established. The lead was good, the sheriff is a character and a half, should make a decentish villian. If you want to call him that.

OK I’ll try to be positive

    It wasn’t cr*p

The leads are – however – just a little on the young side

It was trying to be political – references to ‘shoulder to shoulder’ and the Middle East are a fair attempt to make the show ‘relevant’ to a modern audience

    But what really annoyed me – Mr Hood firing 2 arrows at once to break 2 ropes <!– s>:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/angry.gif" alt=">:(" title="Angry" /><!– s>:( –>

One of the great things about Robin Hood for me was his gift for archery – hence he could split an arrow and win the contest – it stretched credulity but did not completely blow it – he was still human

The 2 arrow stunt now firmly places this version of ‘Boys and the Hood’ in FANTASY

    I prefer the mystical and spiritual version of the ’80s (no surprise there then <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>)

ps – The Torchwood trailer – Mmmmm!

surely if he didn’t speak before firing every arrow to break the ropes he wouldn’t have needed to fire two at once.&nbsp; <!– s::) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/rolleyes.gif" alt="::)" title="Roll Eyes" /><!– s::) –>

A very good point Mr B

    I think I might prefer it – if you were the script editor <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" /><!– s:) –>

Third episode written by a certain Mr Paul Cornell. It was OK but the identity of the actual killer was pretty obvious. HINT: You knew it wasn’t Robby Nudd and the killer had a bloody great big quiver of arrows on his back&nbsp; <!– s:o –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/shocked.gif" alt=":o" title="Shocked" /><!– s:o –>

Guys, what are your views on the actress playing Marian? I think she is absolutely gorgeous. Come to think of it, can someone post a pic of her on this thread to back up my claim that she is "absolutely gorgeous". A hog’s head and a barrel of ale to the winner&nbsp; <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –>

Thanks Atomic – Miss Griffiths certainly has come to the castle eyes. I think I’m in love. I can hear my other half practising with her bow now she knows I fancy Lucy Griffiths.

"KEEP BACK WOMAN. I WAS ONLY MAKING AN OBSERVATION" OUCH!

Them pointy arrowy things are sharp.
