WOW! Can’t wait.

Anything involving Lucas is usually released on the same dates both sides of the pond nowadays.

That looks exciting … blimey Harrison Ford must be fit to do all that leaping around he must be ancient now.

Thanks for the clip, I’ve been wondering about that movie….
People I know who are really into film have had convos with me that Ford is too old, but I think it fits with the whole story from Young Indy to Last Crusade, plus Ford looks to be in great shape!

There’s a documentary called The Real Indiana Jones on Channel 5 just now, and it sounds like it’s narrated by Paul McGann.

I think Ford’s age WILL play a part in this being a lesser film, although parts 2 and 3 are hardly perfect so it still has a good chance, but I very much doubt it will be able to surpass the brilliance that is Raiders.

I think his age will add to his performance. I believe it will force the film to be a better script and not the "run around and jump around" feel of the second.

Also, his age puts him at a more even keel with us mere mortals. Let’s face it, no actor could make us feel "taking a punch" like Ford in the first and third films. part of the genius of Indiana Jones is that the character has always felt very "real", and the age of Ford, and the fact that it’s hinted at twice (or maybe three times) in the trailer will make it more "real" to us.

Let’s face it, it’s going to be good.

I fear that CGI will take away some of the enjoy for me. When I watched the Star Wars prequels I felt they were like watching a cartoon, making them inferior to eps IV-VI where the star destroyers etc had so much more substance. Anyone else agree with that or am I talking B……….

I agree about SW, but the new Indy is filmed with very little CGI effects, as they wanted it to fit in with the others, plus Ford tryed to do as many of his own stunts as he could manage.

I do agree in general about CGI, I’d rather have the old way of making SFX, but there are monets that CGI makes possible like in the Spider-Man films.
