Doctor Who In Parliament Square Gallery

The BBC today has released a new selection of images to herald Doctor Who Series 8′s return to screens on Saturday, with the Doctor, Clara and the TARDIS in London’s Parliament Square.

Whether the images are supposed to remind fans of Peter Capaldi’s former life as foul-mouthed, verbal abuse genius Malcolm Tucker we’re not sure, but whatever the truth these are a striking selection of images, which you can see below via our Facebook page. (You’ll need a Facebook login to view these.)

Doctor Who returns to TV on Saturday, 23rd August with the series opener Deep Breath. Not sure what time it’s on? Check our comprehensive collection of worldwide broadcast times.

Whoever’s been overseeing the promotional side of this series deserves a gold star because that was genius! As a fan of The Thick Of It I did think “oh, Peter will know his way around there!” but then I actually looked at the pictures and all I could see was just how totally “The Doctor” he is now.
