Classic Tom Baker: In Swiss Toni, 2003

Tom Baker, 80 last January, is of course well-known for his roles in Doctor Who and Little Britain. But did you know of his association with Charlie Higson?

Higson, who of course wrote a 50th anniversary adventure for the Ninth Doctor that fits in a brief moment during Rose, is well known for his work on The Fast Show and spin-off sitcom Swiss Toni, which is where the clips above come from. Compiled by “Tardisgirlfrance”, they feature Tom as a washed up Ken Russell-style film director, and he’s bloody marvellous – a show-stealing performance.

This should help get your Monday morning into gear :)
