Capaldi Doctor Appears On Dead Ringers: Trailer

We worried it might happen, and it has. New Doctor Peter Capaldi will be mimicked in the new series of Dead Ringers, which collides the Twelfth Doctor into an uncomfortable mashup with The Thick of It’s foul-mouthed spin doctor Malcolm Tucker.

As cheap ideas go, it’s in the bargain bucket.

Dead Ringers has recently been announced as returning to radio with much of the original cast, such as one-time Fourth Doctor impersonating legend Jon Culshaw (although we prefer Mr John Guilor’s), and Lewis McLeod – best known as the voice of the TV’s Postman Pat (Stephen Mangan voiced him in the recent film) – is providing the voice of Peter Capaldi/the Doctor/Malcolm Tucker.

Not because he can impersonate them particularly well, but because he’s Scottish.

Have a listen below and tell us what you think…
