BBC Releases New, Shorter Series 8 Trailer

A new, shorter trailer for Doctor Who Series 8 has been released today, and broadcast on BBC One this evening to herald the opening of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Featuring some of the monsters and scenes previously seen in the one-minute trailer, this 36 second shorter edit features a little more movement in some clips but is largely a rerun of the first half of the longer version.

If you want to see more of Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor, you will of course be tuning into BBC One on August 23rd – to keep you going, watch him above with Jenna Coleman as Clara and a host of monsters…
