Help Fund Cincinatti’s Dalek Con East 2014

There are a few well-known Doctor Who focused conventions in the US – Gallifrey One in Los Angles has been held annually for the last 25 years, Chicago TARDIS has gone on for the last 15 years.

A new group is seeking to create a Doctor Who convention for the East Coast US area and is looking to the fans all across the country to join together to get this new convention off the ground – out of the planning stages and time vortex and into reality!

Dalek Con East has launched a Kickstarter campaign fund Cincinnati, Ohio’s fist ever Doctor Who convention. Tentatively scheduled for 18-19 October, 2014, there are already a few confirmed guests for the convention, should it be funded by the end of the Kickstarter – Robert Allsop, a creature designer for Doctor Who, Kelly Yates, a former IDW Doctor Who artist, and the Steampunk Time Lord rock band the Ken Spivey Band.

Kasterborous is pleased to exclusively announce that should the convention Kickstarter goal be met, the one and only Captain Jack Harkness, John Barrowman, will be attending the convention!

To find out more about the plans for Dalek Con East 2014, check out all their Facebook and Twitter profiles and head on over to the Kickstarter to pledge your contribution to make this convention happen! The more contributions the better the convention will be! Get involved now!

About

Rebecca is still new to the Who world, but is no stranger to sci-fi, being a life long Trekkie. When not watching, reading, blogging, or talking about Doctor Who, she watches so many movies and reads so many books she has to keep a list of both so she doesn't forget any of them. She wishes she could have been with the Doctor and Amy when they met Van Gogh.
