And he’s still in Matt’s clothes… They’re just going to keep torturing us aren’t they? I do hope they chose something new for him, really. Going around in the same outfit as a previous Doctor would just be boring (even though he looks good in it).

maybe that is what they plan – after all, the second Dr wore a variation on the first’s costume, more tatty and baggy, but still a frock coat and check trousers. Maybe the new Doctor will simply adopt the Victorian look, without a bowtie! The first story is set in Victorian times apparently, so he’s less likely to suddenly wear sometime very different. Whatever they do, they can’t keep it secret for much longer…

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, his new gear will be more Victorian, but he should still try to be varied enough from what Matt wore. But by now I think we’re starting to run low on ideas that haven’t already been used.

The BBC has revealed what his outfit looks like.

          • There is, I think, a delicious irony in someone posting on a news item on a Doctor Who fansite who seems to have no recognition of concepts like time, and calendars.

            And dates.
