Manchester’s Who At Fifty “Radio Times” Schedule

The upcoming Who at Fifty celebration has released a Radio Times style schedule of events to accompany the previously released vintage-style cover image!

The schedule – by wizard designer Colin Brockhurst – gives a full look at the different events and shows being prepared to mark the occasion. Ranging from screenings of The Day of the Doctor (Sat. 23) and An Adventure in Space and Time (Fri. 22, pending confirmation) to a live recreation of the very first episode of Doctor Who, An Unearthly Child (Nov. 17-19), starring Phil Dennison as the Doctor, there is definitely something for every Whovian to get excited about (including sock puppets…erm…if sock puppets are your thing).

The fringe festival runs from Nov. 16-30th. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from www.wegottickets.com. Given the massive interest in all things 50th Anniversary, you may want to get your tickets ahead of time. You can check out Christian’s wonderful Who at Fifty preview here and connect with Manchester’s Who at Fifty on Facebook and by using FB/Twitter #whoatfifty.

“That’s bacon! Are you trying to poison me?” And from that line on, I’ve been unable to stop watching, reading, musing about the Doctor. As a recent transplant to the Whoniverse, I’ve been trying to soak up as much Who-related knowledge as possible. That journey has taken me from the Tenth Planet to the Fields of Trenzalore and gently set me at the edge of my seat for what’s next. It’s an honor to be here and I plan to bring a unique perspective. I hope you’ll enjoy the journey alongside me.
