Doctor Who in global simulcast on November 23rd for 50th anniversary

Comic Con Trailer for Sunday Night?

We’ve already brought you news of a new Doctor Who trailer this weekend, and today the BBC has announced a second trailer – possibly from San Diego Comic Con – to air on Sunday evening!

Via the official BBC Doctor Who page we’ve learned that along with the brand new trailer at around 8pm BBC One on Saturday (just before Atlantis, but also available online), a second trailer will be released on Sunday:

Versions of this trailer have been seen at industry events but this is the first time it’s been released in its finished form, complete with the kind of special effects that help make The Day of the Doctor so epic.

From what we know, two events – SDCC and Edinburgh International Television Festival – have previously aired the trailer, although calling SDCC an industry event in this day and age is like describing a premier league match as a PFA members meeting.

Regardless, it seems likely that the infamous Comic Con trailer is finally going to be screened!

(Thanks to Nick and Joe)
